Location: Hyderabad, India Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 3 days per week in office

About the Role

As a Senior Developer , you will be responsible for the overall maintenance and performance of the product by applying principles of software engineering to the design, development and testing of software. You will ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software within release timelines and guidelines, while bringing technical leadership, mentorship, and a passion for innovation to the team. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who thrives in collaborative environments, operates with a high degree of autonomy, and is driven to influence both the product and the people around them.

Your Role Responsibilities – Here's What You'll Do

• Develop complex code based on functional specifications; complete logic and algorithm design in alignment with established standards; translate and analyze software requirements into design specifications ensuring adherence to requirements
• Perform complex peer code reviews and analysis; provide insight on the broader impact of software changes and incorporate business value into technical decisions; influence and provide technical guidance to other team members
• Test code to verify it meets technical specifications and functions as intended; create and apply automated tests and test principles to software changes, including unit tests, and contribute to the implementation of a delivery pipeline including test automation, security, and performance
• Influence and lead on standards and processes of team events including planning, work estimation, solution demos, reviews, and implementation design discussions
• Research complex escalations for production issues or software code issues to ensure application stability; understand business applications and coding tasks to make recommendations for internal process improvements and product documentation
• Mentor, coach, train, and provide feedback to team members; implement development standards to ensure compliance with product and industry practices and regulations

Role Essentials – What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• 7+ yrs of experience.
• Required experience and technical expertise:
• Extensive hands-on experience with C/C++ and .NET Framework 4.x and/or .NET Core/.NET development on Windows platforms.
• Deep understanding of COM/OLE technologies, including proven experience developing and maintaining COM servers and clients in both C++ and .NET production environments.
• Strong knowledge of OLE Automation, COM architecture, and .NET interoperability.
• Experience with one or more scripting languages, such as VBScript, JavaScript, or Python.
• Practical experience with Windows inter-process communication (IPC) mechanisms and related APIs.
• Experience designing, developing, or extensively integrating applications with Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL) and/or Oracle Database.
• Demonstrated knowledge of data structures, algorithms, software design principles and patterns, continuous software delivery practices, and build environments and delivery pipelines.
• Experience with test automation, continuous integration tools, software testing frameworks, methodologies, and quality assurance processes.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and organizational levels while exercising professionalism, discretion, and tact.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a proven capacity to work independently, drive initiatives to completion, and positively influence team members and stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• Experience developing client-server applications using RESTful APIs, TCP/IP, and HTTP/HTTPS communication protocols.
• Experience with web application development, including backend and/or frontend technologies.
• Experience with Entity Framework and related data access technologies.
• Experience with Java development, Spring Framework, MyBatis, ORM.
• Experience with Angular, Typescript development.
• Experience developing applications or libraries for Linux, including shell scripting with Bash.
• Good knowledge of AI and machine learning based tools and technologies
