As a Security Officer Driver Screening in Freeport, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, badging activities, and other security-related policies at a chemical and petrochemical location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, document visitor and vehicle activity, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and emergency response protocols as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, operational areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, noting unusual conditions and reporting security-related concerns.
- Communicate with site personnel, drivers, and guests regarding access requirements, delivery procedures, and location rules while maintaining accurate logs and incident reports.
Minimum Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- A TSA issued TWIC is required.
- A state, county, and/or city issued security-related license is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
