As a Security Officer Driver Screening in Freeport, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, conduct routine patrols, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, badging activities, and other security-related policies at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, document visitor and vehicle activity, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and emergency response protocols as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, operational areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, noting unusual conditions and reporting security-related concerns.
• Communicate with site personnel, drivers, and guests regarding access requirements, delivery procedures, and location rules while maintaining accurate logs and incident reports.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A TSA issued TWIC is required.
• A state, county, and/or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
