Job Description

As a Security Officer Driver Field Patrol in Columbus, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed driving patrol officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong customer service and communication. This role is ideal for someone who values teamwork, acts with integrity, and brings an agile, reliable, and innovative approach to every shift.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and other security-related policies within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, loading zones, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor logs, and document deliveries, contractor activity, and other site-related movements according to post instructions.
• Complete routine reports on patrol activity, incidents, and maintenance or operational concerns, and support emergency response activities when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
