As a Security Officer TWIC Access Driver in Beaumont, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as a driving Access Control Officer in a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will help monitor entry points, verify credentials, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to visitors, contractors, and employees by following site-specific access control procedures, verifying credentials, and documenting entry and exit activity at the location.
- Monitor entry points, vehicle gates, and restricted areas to help support authorized access, while reporting unusual activity, policy violations, and security-related concerns to the appropriate contacts.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating site-specific emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, and access points, with attention to location-specific conditions common to an industrial environment.
- Complete required reports, logs, and communication records related to access activity, incidents, and/or maintenance concerns, while following Allied Universal standards and site policies.
Minimum Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- A TSA issued TWIC is required.
- Proof of high school diploma or GED is required.
- A state, county, and/or city issued security-related license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
