Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Motor Patrol Driver in Houston, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions according to post guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including sales floor areas, parking areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter zones, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for unusual behavior, policy violations, and/or potential loss concerns, and report security-related issues to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Support opening, closing, and high-traffic period coverage by maintaining a visible presence and assisting with security-related interactions involving customers, visitors, and store personnel.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification for Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
