Job Description

As a Security Officer Screening Operations in Arlington, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will help monitor entry points, conduct screening activities, and support security-related operations with professionalism and care. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or team members by carrying out screening procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Screen people, packages, and/or personal property entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and established screening protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Monitor access points, shipping and receiving areas, and other designated locations to help support security-related operations and help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as assigned, noting unusual conditions and documenting security-related concerns within the logistics and distribution location.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
