Responsibilities
- Deliver a premium customer experience by greeting every guest promptly, professionally, and with genuine enthusiasm.
- Listen carefully to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle service needs.
- Recommend maintenance and repair services based on BMW manufacturer guidelines, technician inspections, and customer needs.
- Clearly communicate repair recommendations, pricing, and expected completion times.
- Partner closely with technicians and the service team to ensure efficient workflow and timely vehicle delivery.
- Keep customers informed throughout the repair process with proactive updates.
- Review completed repairs with customers, explaining services performed and answering any questions.
- Build long-term customer relationships that drive loyalty, repeat business, and referrals.
- Consistently achieve customer satisfaction, sales, and performance goals.
- Represent the values and professionalism of Group 1 Automotive in every customer and team interaction.
Qualifications
- Previous Automotive Service Advisor experience required
- Dealership experience strongly preferred; BMW experience is a plus
- Exceptional customer service and relationship-building skills
- Strong communication and consultative sales abilities
- Ability to recommend maintenance and repairs with confidence and integrity
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer proficiency
- Goal-oriented with a strong desire to succeed
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
