As a Security Officer Access Control in Los Angeles, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal at a premier financial institution location as an unarmed patrol professional. In this role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Working in a caring, team-driven culture built on integrity, you will support daily operations with a reliable, agile, and innovative approach that makes a meaningful difference each shift.
This role also includes patrol duties.

What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building, lobby areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and/or conditions that may require attention.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to support authorized entry, orderly operations, and professional interactions throughout the location.
- Prepare clear, timely reports on incidents, patrol findings, and daily activities, and relay relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and/or designated site personnel.
Minimum Requirements
- Have supervisory experience.
- Have a minimum typing speed of 40 WPM.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Have 5+ years of security-related experience.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
