Job description
POSITION PURPOSE
To provide food to the guests in an efficient, courteous and accurate manner. All functions are carried out to maintain an environment of teamwork.
Responsibilities for food attendant
•
Plans, organizes, prepares and serves food for large groups
•
Take orders, promote the outlet's specialties and serve in accordance to the established standards
•
Operating a point of sale register to include cash transactions and provide excellent customer service
•
Chopping, grilling, frying, and assembling meals according to menu standards
•
Preparing and cooking food in the food truck kitchen
•
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and service areas
•
Assist with restocking supplies and ingredients
•
Handle cash transactions and provide excellent customer service
•
Be helpful towards guests that need assistance
•
Clean and prepare tables for inflow of guests
•
Pay regular attention to guests to ensure that their requests are attended to
Qualifications for food attendant
•
One year previous job experience required in lieu of High school diploma/GED
•
Short order cook/grill cook experience preferred
•
High school diploma or GED preferred, or currently completing required studies
