Job Description

As a Security Officer Identity Verification in Hollywood, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal at a residential location where you will help manage access control, greet residents and guests, monitor entry activity, and support security-related protocols with professionalism and care. You may conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter incidents, and deliver strong communication and customer service. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify resident and visitor credentials, and document arrivals, departures, deliveries, and/or contractor access according to location procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues to property management and/or public emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential location and perimeter, noting unusual activity, unsecured access points, and/or property conditions that may require attention.
• Communicate with residents, guests, management, and Allied Universal personnel regarding access requests, policy questions, and other security-related matters in a professional manner.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
