As a Security Officer Healthcare Lobby in West Palm Beach, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor entrances, lobbies, and restricted areas, verify access as directed by site policies, and assist with visitor directions and general support.
- Support daily operations by reporting hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations, and by completing required logs, reports, and other security-related documentation.
Minimum Requirements
- Hospital positions require proof of required vaccinations.
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
- Applicants must be 21+ years of age.
- Applicants must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
- A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
