Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) - Dementia & Memory Care
Location: Keene, NH Employment Type: Full-Time | Part-Time | Flexible Scheduling

Interim HealthCare is seeking experienced and compassionate Licensed Nursing Assistants (LNAs) who are passionate about providing exceptional care to older adults with memory loss and cognitive impairment. As a valued member of our care team, you will
- Provide compassionate, person-centered care to individuals living with Alzheimer's disease and other dementias
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility
- Use patience, empathy, and effective communication techniques to reduce anxiety and support positive behaviors
- Recognize changes in physical, emotional, and cognitive condition and communicate observations promptly to the nursing team
- Assist with safe transfers, ambulation, positioning, and fall prevention
- Support meaningful engagement and encourage independence whenever possible
- Build trusting relationships with patients and provide reassurance during moments of confusion or distress
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
- Follow individualized care plans while preserving each patient's dignity, preferences, and quality of life
- Adhere to infection control, safety, and confidentiality standards
Required
- Current New Hampshire Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification
Preferred
- Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer's disease or other forms of dementia
- Memory care, long-term care, home care, hospice, or assisted living experience
- Knowledge of person-centered dementia care practices and de-escalation techniques
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused approach
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team
- Reliable transportation and scheduling flexibility
