Schedule: Night Shift | Full Time
What You Will Do
•
Deliver specialized respiratory care by evaluating, treating, and managing patients with breathing insufficiencies to improve their long-term health and comfort.
•
Design tailored care plans based on individual diagnoses, determining the ideal treatment type and frequency to ensure every patient receives personalized attention.
•
Monitor and manage advanced modalities and clinical equipment, tracking patient progress in real-time to maintain safe, high-quality interventions.
•
Empower patients and families through compassionate education about their conditions, providing them with vital community resources and support systems for life outside the hospital.
•
Lead emergency interventions as an active member of the rapid response and resuscitation teams to protect and save lives during critical situations.
What You Will Need
Licensure / Certification / Registration
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Respiratory Care Practitioner credentialed from the Indiana Respiratory Care Committee obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Respiratory Therapist specializing in Registered credentialed from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date required.
- Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) preferred.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Education
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
