Treasury Officer
Job description
Overview / Responsibilities
Wood has an opportunity for a Senior Treasury Officer. There is an increased thrust to deliver our services for the growing Southeast Asian market. As a result of this, Accounting Department operation is expanding and evolving to manage the challenges of regional projects that continue to pose challenges in offering our services through a global talent pool.
- Control and Monitor Cash for Thailand and Malaysia
- Manage and control over Vendor Payment
- Manage EFT / GIRO Payment
- Prepare all electronic fund transfer for all countries
- Coordinate with all related parties
- Ensure sufficient cash to operate all above countries
- Deal with staff, supplier and bank
- Prepare Daily Cash Position Report, Weekly Cash Update to Corporate, Bond Report
- Coordinate with Treasury team in APac and Corporate
- Record receipt and payment in JDE
- Manage Cheque stock and Token control
- Deal and coordinate with bank
- Prepare Bank Reconciliation
- Prepare Tax Reconciliation PND.3, 53 for filing the return
- Prepare Tax P.NG.D. 54, 36 for overseas fund transfer
- Cash forecast report
- Hedging report, Mark to Market (MTM)
- Manage and control staff advance
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Min 6 years of corporate financial or operational audit experience or financial analysis
- Strong business acumen and critical thinking skills
- Strong analytical, problem solving and project management skills
- Expertise in computer abilities (MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Highly responsible and strong team player and able to work independently
- Familiar or interface with Internet Banking
- Good English communication skills
- Comfortable in dealing with ambiguity
- Detail-oriented, fast-learner, and committed to meet deadline
