What You'll Do
Under the direction of the Marketing Manager, the Advertising Coordinator supports Spokane Tribe Resort & Casino’s advertising and marketing efforts through the coordination, trafficking, and execution of advertising campaigns and marketing initiatives. This position helps maintain advertising schedules, campaign assets, vendor communications, production timelines, and collateral distribution to ensure projects are delivered accurately, on time, and in alignment with brand standards. The Advertising Coordinator works closely with internal departments, external vendors, and the broader Marketing Team, supporting campaign execution, asset coordination, and promotional initiatives while helping protect and promote the Spokane Tribe Resort & Casino brand.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES
- Promote and support a culture of excellence at Spokane Tribe Resort & Casino by modeling STRC values, delivering exceptional guest service, and upholding the highest standards of professionalism and ethics.
- Provide exceptional guest service throughout all interactions.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming regulations, internal controls, and departmental policies, including requirements of the Gaming Commission and applicable state and federal authorities.

- Review web pages to ensure accurate and current information is displayed.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with internal departments to support marketing requests and brand needs.
- Coordinate, traffic, and deploy advertising assets both on property and through contracted advertising partners and vendors to ensure timely and accurate campaign execution.
- Maintain advertising schedules, campaign assets, and production timelines, tracking project deadlines and deliverables to keep campaigns on track.
- Coordinate billboard production, collect and review advertising proofs, and communicate revisions with vendors, the creative team, and internal stakeholders to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Organize and maintain advertising campaign assets, supporting the setup, distribution, and archival of marketing materials.
- Support promotional, Player Development, and Sun Club initiatives by preparing requested materials, coordinating distribution, and assisting during events as required.
- Coordinate with external vendors under the direction of the Marketing Manager, processing insertion orders and helping ensure projects are completed according to specifications and deadlines.
- Assist with budget tracking and the gathering of campaign information to support reporting on campaign effectiveness and departmental goals.
- Uphold and protect the integrity of the STRC brand across all marketing channels and materials.
- Provide general administrative support to the Marketing Manager and Marketing Department as needed.
- Demonstrate dependability and reliability by maintaining regular, punctual attendance and consistently fulfilling assigned shifts and responsibilities.
- Create, maintain, and facilitate a positive and safe work environment; promote healthy team member relations and report concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2+ years of related experience in casino marketing, journalism, communications, event planning, or public relations; casino experience strongly preferred.
- Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment that operates 24/7.
- Willing and available to work varied schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and special events
Skills, Abilities & Competencies
- Demonstrate a strong hospitality mindset and a genuine enthusiasm for engaging with people, consistently showcasing the property experience to all guests.
- Demonstrate understanding of casino marketing principles.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard office equipment.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite. Portfolio submission preferred.
- Demonstrate ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities effectively. Creative, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to accept and apply constructive feedback.
- Communicate effectively with guests, team members, and external contacts. Read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Demonstrate a high level of integrity, discretion, and commitment to confidentiality.
- Maintain a positive, professional, and productive demeanor.
