As a Security Officer Access Screening in Calabasas, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal at a residential location where you will monitor entry points, support access control activities, and conduct routine patrols to help identify security-related concerns. You will remain visible, provide exceptional customer service and communication, and contribute to a caring culture built on teamwork, integrity, agility, reliability, and innovation.

What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by following site-specific access procedures, verifying entry authorization, and addressing questions in a professional manner.
- Monitor entry and exit points to help control access to the location, document visitor activity, and report unusual or unauthorized activity according to post orders.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and support emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help identify security-related concerns, hazards, and/or maintenance issues for follow-up.
- Complete required reports, logs, and communication records related to daily activity, incidents, and security-related observations.
Minimum Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Access Control/Badge experience is preferred.
- A Guard Card/License is preferred.
- Customer Service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
