Job Description

As a Security Officer with Active Clearance Patrol in Westford, MA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic aero and defense location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness throughout the site. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for employees, visitors, and contractors in accordance with site requirements, helping to support restricted-area access control.
• Communicate with site contacts, supervisors, and/or emergency responders regarding security-related issues, operational concerns, and changes in site activity as needed.

Minimum Requirements

• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
