About This Opportunity

This opportunity is designed for current 2026 ENERCON interns only who are interested in and want to be considered for a return internship summer 2027 or for future full-time opportunities post-graduation.

Preferred Engineering Disciplines

We are primarily seeking students or recent graduates in

  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Civil / Structural Engineering
  • Nuclear Engineering
  • Other related engineering disciplines

Responsibilities

As an intern continuing with ENERCON, you will

  • Graduating with a bachelor’s or master’s degree from an ABET- accredited school in one of our listed preferred majors.
  • A solid working foundation with your major’s core concepts.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite.
  • Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams.
  • Ability to effectively problem solve.
  • Must be able to climb stairs and ladders at client sites.
  • Must be able to effectively navigate client sites to conduct walkdowns.
  • Must be able to work outside.
  • Ability and willingness to travel for client and company projects and/or meetings.

Interview and Employment Requirements

  • Completion of pre interview assessments.
  • College transcript submitted for anyone under 1 year of experience post-graduation.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screenings, ENERCON and client-specific background checks, and annual motor vehicle record (MVR) checks according to company and client policies.
