Job description
We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager - ANZ to lead business development and revenue growth across Australia and New Zealand.
The Sales Manager - ANZ will be Botsync's first dedicated in-market sales hire in Australia. This is a hunter role requiring strong enterprise relationships, deep knowledge of industrial automation and intralogistics, and the commercial maturity to manage complex, multi-stakeholder deals from qualification to close. Australia is one of Botsync's highest-priority growth markets in FY2026 with an annual revenue target of SGD 2 million.
The key responsibilities includes
- Pipeline generation and deal ownership
- Own the ANZ revenue target - build, qualify, and close enterprise deals across FMCG, automotive, pharmaceutical, and logistics verticals
- Lead all customer-facing sales activity, from initial discovery through site visits, proposal, negotiation, and contract execution
- Identify and qualify net-new enterprise accounts with autonomous material handling requirements in the 500kg-1,500kg payload range
- Work with Singapore-based solution engineering and pre-sales teams to develop technically accurate, commercially compelling proposals
- Manage complex, multi-stakeholder deals involving operations, procurement, IT, and finance across 6–18 month sales cycles
- Partner programme activation
- Own and deepen relationships with Botsync's ANZ partner network
- Conduct biweekly partner pipeline reviews and co-marketing activities to drive partner-introduced deal flow
- Support partners with technical education, proposal assistance, and customer presentation preparation
- Identify and onboard additional strategic partners.
- Represent Botsync at key ANZ trade events and relevant FMCG and manufacturing events
- Build Botsync's brand presence and personal network in the Australian industrial automation community
- Forecasting, reporting, and CRM
- Maintain accurate pipeline data in HubSpot - deal stages, MEDDPICC qualification scores, forecast, and next actions updated weekly
- Provide weekly pipeline updates and monthly forecasts to the leadership team
- Use the Botsync AMR qualification checklist and MEDDPICC framework for all new opportunities before proposal investment
- Track partner contribution, deal source, and close rate by vertical and partner across the ANZ market
- 12-15+ years of B2B sales experience in industrial automation, robotics, AMR/AGV, warehouse automation, intralogistics, or materials handling solutions.
- Proven success in hunting, developing, and closing complex enterprise deals with large manufacturers, logistics operators, or supply chain organizations.
- Established relationships with Operations Directors, Supply Chain Leaders, Plant Managers, and Automation Heads across Australia.
- Strong understanding of Australian manufacturing and logistics sectors, including procurement processes, capital expenditure approvals, and operational challenges.
- Experience managing multi-stakeholder sales cycles involving operations, procurement, IT, finance, engineering, and executive leadership teams.
- Demonstrated ability to work with channel partners, system integrators, and indirect sales networks to drive revenue growth.
- Strong commercial, negotiation, and presentation skills, with experience using structured sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC, Challenger, or SPIN; experience in AMR/AGV, warehouse automation, WMS, ERP, or SCADA environments is highly desirable.
