Service Manager
Our Service Managers are the driving force behind our service departments - leading technicians and advisors, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and ensuring the shop operates efficiently and profitably.
As a Service Manager, you'll oversee the daily operations of a high-performing service department while developing your team, maximizing productivity, and maintaining the highest standards of customer satisfaction. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and knows how to motivate people while driving results.
Responsibilities
- Lead the daily operations of the service department, ensuring efficient workflow and outstanding customer service.
- Hire, train, coach, and develop Service Advisors, Technicians, and support staff while fostering a positive, high-performance culture.
- Monitor shop productivity, technician efficiency, and departmental profitability while implementing strategies for continuous improvement.
- Ensure repair orders are written, dispatched, and completed accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain exceptional CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) scores by resolving customer concerns promptly and professionally.
- Work closely with the Parts Department to ensure timely availability of parts and efficient repair turnaround.
- Monitor department expenses, labor sales, warranty performance, and key performance indicators.
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer policies, dealership procedures, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Conduct regular department meetings and performance reviews while establishing clear goals and accountability.
- Collaborate with dealership leadership to achieve overall sales, service, and profitability objectives.

Schedule
- Five-day work week.
- Flexible schedule based on dealership operating hours and business needs.
- Some evenings and Saturdays required to support department operations and customer demand.
- Work alongside an experienced leadership team in a fast-paced, high-volume dealership environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required; prior automotive dealership Service Manager or Fixed Operations leadership experience strongly preferred.
- Proven leadership experience managing Service Advisors, Technicians, and department operations.
- Strong understanding of dealership service processes, warranty procedures, and manufacturer standards.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to analyze financial reports, productivity metrics, and departmental performance.
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
