Job description

Job Summary

The HR Analyst is responsible for supporting day-to-day Human Resources operations and ensuring the accuracy and maintenance of employee records, documentation, and HR systems. This role assists with key HR processes, including onboarding, employee lifecycle changes, offboarding, performance management, and benefits administration.

The HR Analyst also supports employee engagement initiatives, compliance activities, reporting, and special projects while ensuring alignment with company policies and legal requirements. In addition, this position works closely with HR Generalists, HR Business Partners (HRBPs), and HR leadership to provide high-quality service and a positive employee experience.

Responsibilities

HR Documentation and File Management

Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee files, records, and HR documentation.

Ensure the confidentiality, security, and integrity of all HR information.

Conduct periodic audits to verify compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

Archive and manage confidential employee and legal documentation.

Employee Support

Respond to routine employee and candidate inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and hiring processes.

Escalate complex issues to HR Generalists, HR Business Partners, or management as appropriate.

Deliver timely and high-quality support to employees throughout the employee lifecycle.

Employee Lifecycle Administration

Support new hire processes, including HR system updates, digital file creation, and data accuracy reviews.

Coordinate offboarding activities, including exit checklists, access removal, and termination processing.

Process employee status changes, approvals, acknowledgments, and related documentation.

Manage employee codes and banking information updates, activations, and deactivations.

Onboarding and Training

Participate in onboarding activities to ensure a positive employee experience.

Conduct training audits and maintain accurate training records.

Track and report training participation and completion metrics.

Performance Management and Employee Engagement

Support performance management programs by updating records, validating achievements, and maintaining recognition initiatives.

Assist with performance review cycles, employee recognition programs, and related communications.

Maintain documentation for performance improvement plans and disciplinary actions.

Monitor budgets associated with employee engagement and recognition activities.

Projects and Events

Support the planning and execution of HR initiatives, special projects, and employee events.

Coordinate activities related to benefits enrollment, company meetings, recognition programs, and other engagement initiatives.

Collaborate with HR leadership to drive continuous improvement across HR processes and employee experience.

Skills and Experience

Bilingual English and Spanish skills (written and verbal), with a minimum B2 level in English (80% proficiency or higher) .

High School Diploma required; a Technical Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism, discretion, and integrity.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify root causes, not only immediate issues.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and deadlines.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills when interacting with employees, managers, vendors, and external partners.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Collaborative mindset with the ability to build relationships and work effectively with teams across all levels of the organization.

Experience with, or the ability to quickly learn, Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and other HR-related technologies and applications.
