Dental Care Alliance is looking for a Regional Dental Assistant in Connecticut to assist our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment.
Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable, flexible, and patient-focused Traveling Dental Assistant to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a motivated dental professional who enjoys variety in their work environment and is willing to travel between multiple office locations to support patient care and clinical operations.
The Traveling Dental Assistant will provide chairside assistance, maintain clinical efficiency, and ensure exceptional patient experiences across all practice locations.

Responsibilities
- Clinical Support: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
- Patient Care: Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
- Radiography & Diagnostics: Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations..
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake (if needed)
- Helps dentist manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and emergency telephone directory.
Qualifications
- Completion of a one-year certified dental assistant program
- 1 year on-the-job-experience
- X-Ray certification - Required
- Must be willing to travel to any of our Connecticut office locations
- High school diploma or equivalent
Dental Assistant are also expected to maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law.
