Job Description

As a Security Guard Licensed Patrol Support in New York, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal at a premier commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related observations and communicating with property management and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout building interiors, exterior grounds, common areas, loading areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry points, visitor activity, and after-hours access while reporting maintenance issues, policy violations, and other security-related concerns according to post instructions.
• Support daily operations at the location by maintaining a visible presence, assisting with directions and general inquiries, and completing routine reports and patrol logs.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
