As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Newport Beach, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal at a residential community where you will monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, and provide outstanding customer service and communication to residents and guests. What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or staff by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor entrances, exits, gates, and/or parking access points to help manage authorized entry and report unusual or unauthorized activity in a residential location.
- Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with property staff and/or public emergency services when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including common areas, buildings, and perimeter locations, noting conditions that may require security-related attention.
- Document daily activities, visitor interactions, and incident details in required logs and/or reports while following Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
Minimum Requirements
- At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
