Teacher, Science, Elementary School (EX)(2026-2027)-Immaculate Conception School, Towson MD

Immaculate Conception School in Towson, Maryland , is seeking a qualified full‑time Science Teacher for the 2026-2027 academic school year . The Elementary School Science Teacher will provide students with a strong and engaging academic experience using the Archdiocesan and State of Maryland science curriculum. This is a full‑time, benefits‑eligible, 10‑month teaching position with scheduled hours of Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Essential Functions

• Maintains high professional standards consistent with the mission of the school and the teaching of the Catholic Church.
• Plans and implements instructional programs with clear objectives in line with the Archdiocese of Baltimore and State of MD Standards.
• Creates an instructional environment conducive to learning.
• Maintains accurate and complete records of student's progress and development, in a timely manner.
• Communicates standards, achievements, and deficiencies to students and parents through email, phone calls, conferences, and electronic grade book.
• Responsible for the safety and active supervision of students both in and outside of the classroom.

Position Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree, required.
• MSDE Certification or the willingness to obtain certification, required.
• Classroom teaching experience, preferred.
• Proficient in using a variety of technology.
