Job description
Work Setup: Hybrid during probation period (3x a week)
JOB OVERVIEW
The Credit Risk Analyst will be responsible for monitoring applicant status updates and conducting credit-related assessments in accordance with insurer guidelines. The role ensures accurate processing of credit information, effective communication of status changes, and timely support to the Trade Credit Risk Team.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Determining Alert Actions
- Monitor applicant records and identify changes in status or information (e.g., change in company address).
- Communicate relevant updates and alerts to clients in a timely and accurate manner.
Risk Assessment for Credit Checks
- Review credit limit renewal requests and assess applications based on established insurer guidelines, decision matrices, and procedures.
- Escalate discrepancies, exceptions, or issues in accordance with company procedures.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, insurer requirements, and service-level expectations.
Alerts Reports
- Maintain accurate records of assessments, notifications, and reporting activities.
- Verify applicant information and ensure data accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare and distribute periodic reports, including consolidated weekly alerts for designated clients as per request.
QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 1 year of experience in administration support or similar roles.
- Experience in credit operations, risk assessment, financial services, insurance, or a related field is an advantage.
- High attention to detail with the ability to accurately review and validate applicant information and status changes.
- Good understanding of credit risk assessment and ability to follow insurer guidelines and decision matrices.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
