OPEN POSITION: Nuclear Medicine Technologist

SCHEDULE

  • Full-Time
  • Monday to Friday
  • 8:30am to 5:00pm

COMPENSATION

  • $77,000 to $95,000 Base Salary, depending on experience

COMPANY PROFILE: This physician-owned private practice has been operating independently and serving the greater Greenville area since 1997. They currently boast a staff of four (4) physicians and three (3) nurse practitioners, operating out of three (3) conveniently located clinics. Their services include, but are not limited to, primary care, cardiology, women’s health, and much more.

POSITION DESCRIPTION: The nuclear medicine technologist will perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures using radioactive materials to assist in the evaluation and treatment of patients. The technologist will work closely with physicians and clinical staff to ensure accurate imaging, proper protocol adherence, and a positive patient experience across multiple clinic locations.

Specific duties of the role include, but are not limited to:

  • conduct a full range of cardiac and non-cardiac nuclear medicine tests
  • perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures
  • prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with protocols
  • perform Holter monitoring
  • perform regular stress testing
  • perform regular and nuclear treadmill tests under the supervision of a physician
  • assist with remote patient monitoring
  • assist with IV therapy
  • review and evaluate images for quality and accuracy
  • collaborate with physicians to support diagnosis and treatment planning
  • educate patients on procedures and address questions or concerns
  • ensure patient safety and adherence to radiation safety standards

The practice uses the eClinicalWorks EHR.

REQUIREMENTS

  • South Carolina state licensure
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s, Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field
  • ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification
  • 3+ years relevant experience
  • CT certification or cross-training preferred, not required
