Location: New Smyrna Beach, FL Pay: $18.00 per hour to start Transportation: Company transportation to and from the worksite is provided Housing: Optional shared employee housing available at a low cost

Position Overview

Landscape Crew Members perform a variety of outdoor tasks including mowing, trimming, planting, and general grounds maintenance. This is a physical, fast‑paced role that requires reliability, teamwork, and the ability to work in all weather conditions.

Expectations

• Arrive on time and maintain good attendance
• Complete work duties quickly, efficiently, and safely
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance
• Treat co‑workers, supervisors, and housemates with respect
• Follow all company policies at the jobsite and in employee housing
• If you quit or are terminated, you must leave employee housing immediately; travel home is at your own cost

Duties and Responsibilities

• Cut lawns using various-sized power mowers
• Trim and edge using gas-powered edgers and trimmers
• Operate gas-powered blowers
• Trim shrubs and trees using shears, pruners, or gas-powered hedge trimmers
• Remove damaged leaves, branches, and twigs from shrubs and trees
• Use landscaping tools and operate heavy equipment as needed
• Pick up leaves, trash, and grass clippings and load them onto a truck or trailer
• Weed by hand or with a garden hoe
• Plant trees, bushes, and flowers
• Check irrigation lines as needed
• Carry and spread mulch
• Dig trenches, arrange landscape boulders, build retaining walls, and work with hard materials
• Follow all safety procedures and use equipment properly
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must pass a drug screen and background check
• Must be able to stand, walk, crawl, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and use hands/arms to grasp and carry equipment
• Must be able to see, hear, and verbally communicate clearly
• Must be able to lift 70 pounds regularly
• Must have continuous ability to hear and speak
• Must have strong visual acuity, including near vision and depth perception
• Must be able to work outdoors in variable weather and temperatures
• Must have manual dexterity to operate all necessary equipment
