As a Music Agent within the WME London music team, you will be responsible for the strategic booking, negotiation and management of live opportunities for a roster of music clients across domestic and international territories.
Key Responsibilities
- Solicit, negotiate and confirm live performance opportunities on behalf of clients, including tour routing and deal terms (fees, billing, rider requirements, venues, currency and exchange considerations).
- Oversee the contracting process, ensuring all agreements, paperwork and approvals are executed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Contribute to tour packaging strategy, including identifying potential artist pairings, support acts and collaboration opportunities.
- Manage and track client activity using internal systems, including touring schedules, promotional activity, recording periods and downtime.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date booking records, including ticket pricing, allocations, promoter terms, show costs, capacity, taxes, merchandise, and final settlements.
- Analyse ticket sales performance and market data to inform routing decisions, marketing support, or potential rescheduling where required.
- Prepare and review reports relating to bookings, settlements, contracts and promoter payments, ensuring any issues are proactively resolved.
- Attend client shows where required to support delivery, assess promoter performance and strengthen relationships with management and promoters.
- Attend industry showcases and non-client shows to identify prospective talent for representation.
Skills & Experience
- Strong understanding of music industry deal structures across UK, European and international markets.
- Commercially minded with sound numerical and basic accounting awareness.
- Highly organised with excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of domestic and international booking practices and territorial nuances.
- Experience using booking and itinerary management systems (e.g. AIM, Booking Slips, Itinerary, Festival databases).
- Strong understanding of how international offices and cross-territory bookings operate.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced team environment.
- Able to work calmly and effectively under pressure.
