Senior Manager, B2B Marketing
Job description
WHAT IS THE ROLE
The Senior Manager, B2B Marketing is responsible for the B2B Marketing strategy with a strong focus on ROI. He/she creates and executes a marketing plan which supports the revenue targets by creating events, thought leadership activities, email/digital marketing, content marketing for both the enterprise and SMB segment. This is regional role covering multiple markets.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Develop the B2B marketing strategy based on a thorough understanding of the P&L and revenue objectives
- Understand and help define key B2B segments and create a conversion strategy
- Own B2B Marketing Budget and forecasting while monitoring key metrics and developing plans to optimize performance. Allocate budget across markets and activities ensuring the best ROI
- Define marketing activities such as events, content strategy, email, digital, sponsoring,…
- Define kpis and follow up ROI of each activity; pivot the plan where needed based on the data
- Develop the brand strategy and messaging for Business and own overall look and feel of the brand.
- Develop and execute a multi-channel content strategy and plan, resulting in YOY increases in customer attraction, engagement, nurturing and conversion, and retention.
- Lead overall demand generation planning efforts including production of lead generation goals and forecasts, setting/managing budget priorities, and measuring overall results. Translate strategic initiatives and imperatives into actionable marketing strategy aligned to target metrics.
- Manage partner support funding among the territories to ensure maximum ROI on activities.
- Guide the in-market execution, to ensure excellent execution
- Monitor competitor & other category best practice, identifying opportunities to leverage learning
- Building a happy and high performing team and create strong relationships with stakeholders across the business
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Minimum of a Marketing, Communications or Business Degree
- A minimum of 7 years’ experience in a B2B marketing/commercial leadership role
- Exceptional track record of developing and implementing marketing strategies that have consistently met or exceeded planned objectives, providing personal leadership through example
- Experience of operating in a regional business
- Strategic planning & delivery leadership
- Agency Management and leadership of teams within a high performance organization
- Project leadership on a multi-site, multi-stakeholder level
- Experience managing direct reports and managing through cross functional teams
