Job Description
This position supports the core activities of the pediatric neuropsychology laboratory, including administering and scoring psychological and neuropsychological tests and questionnaires, maintaining patient test files and test equipment stocks, maintaining neuropsychology databases for tracking referrals and evaluation records, and performing miscellaneous clerical duties. The position also includes assisting in teaching neuropsychological test and scoring procedures to neuropsychology externs and interns, as well as assisting in coordinating the clinical activities of the laboratory.
K.S.A.'s
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology or related field; experience working with children and their parents.
- Working familiarity with PC hardware and basic software.
- Ability to assist in supervision and training of neuropsychological assessment procedures.
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Job Duties
- Administers and scores more than 50 different verbal, nonverbal, written and computerized neuropsychological and psychological tests in outpatient and inpatient settings.
- Reviews neuropsychological examination records and ensures that they are complete and accurate.
- Maintains patient test files.
- Ensures availability of tests and test protocols, assists in ordering test materials.
- Assists in scheduling assessments for inpatient and outpatients.
- Assists in maintaining neuropsychology triage database.
- Helps gather special records such as previous medical and psychological reports from other services as required to complete patient evaluations.
- Assists with clinical teaching presentations by organizing test data and preparing slides/copies for presentation.
- Assists with one on one training and supervision of psychology externs and interns in test administration and scoring.
- Performs job functions adhering to service principles with customer service focus of innovation, service excellence and teamwork to provide the highest quality care and service to our patients, families, co-workers and others.

Pay Range
$24.00-$39.24 Hourly
