A day in the life.
As our Accounting Clerk on the Accounting team, you’ll be responsible for the following:
- Download ACH/Wires received fr4om Online Banking and deposit them into EPIC.
- Balance/reconcile bank deposits batches within the batches entered in computer system
- Make copies of manual checks receive, create batches and send them to the lockbox for depositing into the bank.
- Reconcile and pay Carriers/Wholesalers/MGA/Brokers statements with trust accounts payable information in the Applied System within the required time frame.
- Resolve accounting discrepancies with insurance carriers and clients.
- Enter and reconcile the Direct Bill statement data as they are received from the insurance companies and post them prior to month end closing.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by the CFO or by management. List is genuinely important and achievable
- Perform related clerical duties as needed.

These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply:
- College Degree preferred (high school diploma is required)
- Proficient MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Work environment & physical demands.
- Ability to use computer keyboard and sit in a stationary position for extended periods as well as use office machinery such as fax and copy machines, and telephones.
- Work is performed in a typical interior/office work environment.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $40,100 to $80,300. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $42,000 to $73,600.
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
