General Overview

🌟Dental Hygienist – North Tahoe Dental 🌟 Beautiful, Modern Practice • Premium Pay • Stable Hours

Compensation: $60/hr – $65/hr (based on experience) + lucrative hygiene bonus program

Schedule: Flexible 1-4 days per week with growth in the future! Tuesdays: 7:30am - 5:00pm Wednesdays: 8:30am - 4:00pm Thursdays: 7:30am - 2:30pm Fridays: 7:30am– 2:30pm at our Truckee location

Responsibilities

Your Impact as a Dental Hygienist

As a vital clinical partner, you will elevate patient health by providing preventive care, education, and a seamless clinical experience. Your responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing and updating X‑rays, chart notes, and maintaining related equipment
  • Recording detailed clinical narratives, probing depths, and documentation for claims
  • Maintaining strict OSHA and HIPAA compliance
  • Sterilizing instruments and managing hygiene supplies
  • Performing Prophylaxis and Scaling & Root Planing
  • Applying fluoride varnish and placing sealants
  • Educating patients on oral health and the mouth‑body connection
  • Supporting patient and team relations with professionalism and empathy
  • Ensuring a safe, welcoming, and organized clinical environment
