Responsibilities
- Excellence in Execution - Prepare dishes with precision and consistency: chopping vegetables, breaking down, cutting, or grinding meat, and weighing and mixing ingredients according to recipe specifications every time.
- Long-Term Thinking - Wash and prepare vegetables, properly store food, and keep your station organized and stocked ahead of need, setting your team up for a smooth service before the rush even begins.
- Serve First - Support your fellow cooks and the broader kitchen team by having ingredients prepped, organized, and ready to go. Your work behind the scenes makes everything in front of the guest possible.
- Attitude is Everything - Bring focus and positive energy to every shift in a busy kitchen. Your consistency and reliability are felt by everyone around you.
- Adhere to all food handling guidelines, sanitation standards, and kitchen policies and procedures at all times.
Qualifications
- You are at least 18 years old and have previous culinary experience.
- You're comfortable with heavy lifting and the physical demands of a working kitchen.
- You're available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- You take pride in precision and consistency, even in the behind-the-scenes work.
- You're looking to build real, hands-on experience in a professional kitchen and grow your career in food and beverage.
