Responsibilities

The Medical Assistant provides superior patient care and perform s administrative and delegated clinical tasks that support patient s in a clinic-based environment as part of a care team led by the physician and /or advanced practice provider .

Qualifications

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Basic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Microsoft Office knowledge . •

BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

  • This position will require occasional travel to Santa Fe.

Preferred Job Requirements

  • Associate’s degree .
  • Graduate from an accredited medical assistant/medical technologist school/program.
  • Prior experience in a clinic or hospital setting supporting patient care
  • Current national certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) .
