Responsibilities
The Medical Assistant provides superior patient care and perform s administrative and delegated clinical tasks that support patient s in a clinic-based environment as part of a care team led by the physician and /or advanced practice provider .
Qualifications
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Basic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Microsoft Office knowledge . •
BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
- This position will require occasional travel to Santa Fe.
Preferred Job Requirements
- Associate’s degree .
- Graduate from an accredited medical assistant/medical technologist school/program.
- Prior experience in a clinic or hospital setting supporting patient care
- Current national certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) .
