  • UT Health Tyler is the flagship hospital of the system serving hundreds of thousands annually. Specializing in advanced acute care medicine, our midtown location boasts a Level 1 trauma center and comprehensive stroke center, the region’s only EMCO program and a Level III NICU. Our medical staff includes more than 500 physicians and a full complement of subspecialty groups.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as the assistant to the members of the administrative team of the healthcare system, with the role designed to enhance the time management and performance of the executive office.
  • The position requires a high level of responsibility, with administrative duties of a professional, sensitive and confidential nature.
  • Effective planning and communication skills, as well as independent judgment, are required.

Qualifications

Job Requirements

  • 3-5 years of secretarial or administrative experience with progressive responsibility
  • Basic personal computer skills and comfort with Microsoft Windows operating system; database and word processing skills required
