- Tulsa Spine & Specialty Hospital (TSSH) specializes in surgical services, diagnostic imaging and pain management. TSSH offers state-of-the-art MRI, computed tomography and myelography technology. TSSH offers a variety of services, such as anesthesia, ear, nose & throat, general surgery, GYN, GYN/oncology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, pain management, plastic surgery, podiatry, radiology and spine care.
- The Insurance Verification Specialist in the Business Office is the Pre-Certification Clerk for surgeries scheduled at the hospital.
- The Insurance Verification Specialist is responsible for ensuring that all patient insurance eligibility benefits and pre-certifications are verified before patient is admitted.
- Duties include compiling, computing, recording, and billing for all payers and self-pay patients as well as all follow-up for these payers that may be required.
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- One year of hospital / medical office accounts receivable or banking experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Job Requirements
- Associates Degree in a related field of study
