What the day will look like The role is for an actuarial and product support analyst for ReMetrica, Aon’s stochastic modeling platform for the insurance industry. The successful candidate is expected to: Become an expert user of ReMetrica Support existing and prospective clients and users of ReMetrica by conducting training workshops and providing technical support via emails and calls Assist in internal testing of new features of ReMetrica Assist in presales demonstrations and presentations Assist in ReMetrica client consulting projects Skills and experience that will lead to success The successful candidate is required to have: A bachelor’s degree or higher in a numerate discipline, e.g. mathematics or statistics, physical sciences, economics etc. Prior experience working in a general insurance or reinsurance actuarial, risk, product development or consulting role. Similar roles in adjacent industries such as technology, banking, finance and management consulting will be considered. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to learn independently and be proactive in addressing client issues as they arise. Programming skills in any major programming language at a level at least commensurate with writing VBA macros in Microsoft Excel. Strong communication skills as evidenced by prior experience working across multidisciplinary teams or by working in projects with multiple stakeholders. Occasional business travel is required in this role.
