Customer Experience Associate

Locations: Baton Rouge, LA -position is hybrid - training will be conducted on site and can be remote/hybrid following

Salary: $15.25/hr. plus benefits

Schedule: 8:00 am - 5:00pm, Monday – Friday

About the Customer Experience Associate role

The individual who fills this position will be responsible for providing prompt, professional customer service for Medicaid Long Term Personal Care Calls to ensure that all necessary information is covered and gathered from requestors/recipients in a clear, consistent and professional manner. Ensure that identified problems are promptly addressed, documented and resolved in a timely manner and calls routed to the appropriate units. The best candidate for this role will be someone who can multi-task through multiple windows and has experience working tight deadlines.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent •

Minimum of two years customer service or call center experience

  • At least one year experience working with older adults or persons with disabilities, preferred
  • Knowledge of healthcare, elderly, and disabled adult populations preferred
  • Knowledge of Medicaid preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word •

Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and autonomously

Ability to adhere to OAAS and CSS departmental timelines

  • Effective time management abilities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. The estimated hourly rate for this role is $15.00
