Test and Validation Engineer

• Create the testing schedule and plan the tests order
• Lead the product validation projects in laboratory
• Define and optimize validation plans by selection of relevant requirements and test methods
• Prepare and execute the tests in compliance with customer requirements/international norms
• Create and verify the test protocols and test reports
• Report the tests results and status of assigned projects
• Development, introduction and modification of test methods according to customer requirements
• Identify new customer/specification requirements or product characteristics in order to anticipate readiness of suitable equipment, methods and competencies in the labs
• Facilitate failures root cause analysis and work out on problem solving solutions
• Supervision over technical documentation, test records and control-measuring equipment
• Purchase of necessary tools, goods and services, liaise with suppliers and conduction of supplier evaluation
• Arrange and coordinate testing in external labs if needed and review of received external test reports
• Knowledge of and compliance with requirements of ISO/IEC 17025
• Maintenance and improvement of management system
• Timely performance of entrusted tasks in accordance with the quality system adopted at Aptiv
