This position is based in our 275 Grove St, Auburndale, MA 02466, USA office.

Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Executive to join our NetLine Growth Sales team. This role is critical in driving revenue growth by identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities while expanding relationships with existing clients. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record in B2B sales, particularly within the technology, marketing, or lead generation sectors, and will possess a strong hunter mentality with the ability to aggressively pursue and win new accounts.

Key Responsibilities

New Business Development & Hunting

  • Proactively identify, prospect, and qualify new business opportunities through outbound efforts including cold calling, email campaigns, social selling, and networking
  • Research and target high-value accounts within assigned territory or vertical markets
  • Break into new accounts and establish relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers
  • Develop creative strategies to penetrate competitive accounts and displace incumbent vendors
  • Leverage multiple channels and touchpoints to generate interest and secure initial meetings
  • Maintain a hunter mindset with relentless focus on opening new doors and expanding market share

Sales & Revenue Generation

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through negotiation and closing
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities using CRM tools, with emphasis on net-new business
  • Convert prospects into long-term clients through consultative selling and value-based positioning

Client Relationship Management

  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at target accounts
  • Conduct needs assessments to understand client challenges and business objectives
  • Present tailored solutions that demonstrate clear ROI and align with client goals
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights on industry trends and best practices

Account Growth & Expansion

  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts
  • Collaborate with account management teams to ensure seamless client experience and retention
  • Monitor account health and proactively address potential issues or concerns

Collaboration & Teamwork

  • Partner with marketing, product, and customer success teams to optimize sales strategies
  • Share market intelligence and customer feedback to inform product development and positioning
  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and sales initiatives

Performance & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities in CRM system
  • Provide regular forecasts and reports on sales performance, pipeline status, and market trends
  • Analyze sales metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimization

    Experience & Skills

    • 3-5 years of proven success in B2B sales, preferably in SaaS, marketing technology, or lead generation
    • Demonstrated track record as a "hunter" with proven ability to prospect, open new accounts, and generate net-new revenue
    • Experience with outbound prospecting techniques including cold calling, email outreach, and social selling
    • Strong understanding of consultative and solution-based selling methodologies
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
    • Ability to build rapport quickly and establish credibility with C-level executives and senior decision-makers
    • Comfortable with rejection and persistent in pursuing opportunities

    Technical Competencies

    • Proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)
    • Comfortable with sales enablement tools and technologies
    • Experience with prospecting tools (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, or similar)
    • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and metrics
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and virtual presentation tools

    • Familiarity with B2B marketing strategies and demand generation concepts
    • Existing network of contacts within target industries
    • Experience working in a high-growth startup or scale-up environment
    • Track record of consistently ranking as a top performer in previous sales roles

    Salary for this position is $80,000 - 100,000 plus commission, based on experience.
