Richmond District’s Environmental Team is seeking an experienced Archeologist to plan and coordinate archeology, architectural history and/or historic engineering components of our regional statewide cultural resource program. You will apply project-level techniques, principles, and practices used in the collection and analysis of cultural resources data; assess eligibility of below ground cultural resources to the National Register of Historic Places; determine effects of transportation projects on historic properties; and apply cultural resource management principles and techniques in the coordination of transportation projects. Candidates MUST possess education and experience in Archeology, Architectural History or History consistent with the Secretary of the Interior’s Professional Qualification Standards for those disciplines.
