Job Description

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of credit analysts, providing guidance, training, and performance reviews.
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis of corporate clients, including assessing financial statements, business models, industry trends, and management capabilities.
  • Prepare comprehensive credit proposals and recommendations for new credit facilities, renewals, and modifications, ensuring adherence to internal credit policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Evaluate and assign appropriate credit ratings to borrowers based on established methodologies.
  • Monitor portfolio performance, identify early warning signs of deterioration, and recommend proactive risk mitigation strategies.
  • Engage with clients to understand their financial needs and provide solutions while managing credit risk.
  • Collaborate with relationship managers and other internal stakeholders to facilitate deal execution and client servicing.
  • Stay updated on market developments, regulatory changes, and industry best practices in credit risk management.
  • Participate in credit committee meetings and present credit recommendations effectively.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of credit policies and procedures.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA or CFA designation is a plus.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in corporate credit analysis within a banking or financial institution, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and various credit products.
  • Proven ability to conduct thorough financial modeling and risk assessment.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English and Mandarin Chinese.
  • Solid knowledge of regulatory requirements and credit risk management frameworks.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of integrity and strong ethical standards.
