Your role

Within this environment, the Counterparty Credit Risk (CCR) domain focuses on risk visibility, control, and regulatory compliance across Financial Markets activities. The domain is supported by core platforms such as Adaptiv Credit Risk (ACR), enabling real-time limit checks, exposure calculation, and risk management across front office processes.

  • As a Customer Journey Expert (CJE), you combine market knowledge, system understanding, product management, and business expertise to drive the successful delivery of change initiatives.
  • You act as the interface between business stakeholders (Trading, Risk, Operations) and IT delivery teams. You ensure that complex counterparty credit risk requirements are translated into clear, implementable solutions that deliver measurable business value.
  • You represent the voice of the business within the squad and take ownership of the end-to-end counterparty credit risk customer journey, ensuring that processes are intuitive, scalable, and compliant.

Your key responsibilities

  • Drive end-to-end customer journeys
    • Analyse user workflows across Front Office and Risk within CCR
    • Design and maintain simplified, effective end-to-end journeys
    • Own delivery of business requests from intake through implementation

  • Translate business needs into solutions
    • Translate CCR requirements (e.g. exposure, limits, stress testing, netting) into clear, actionable specifications
    • Define the “what” and “why” to enable engineering teams to determine the “how”
    • Represent and prioritise business needs within the squad backlog

  • Enable effective delivery
    • Prepare and refine user stories with clear business context
    • Facilitate backlog refinement and alignment across stakeholders
    • Support testing, validation, and release of new functionality

  • Align stakeholders across domains
    • Build strong relationships with Trading, Risk, Operations, and IT
    • Facilitate workshops and knowledge sharing sessions
    • Manage dependencies across domains impacting the CCR journey

  • Simplify products and processes
    • Manage complexity across CCR systems and processes
    • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and usability
    • Translate regulatory requirements (e.g. PFE, WWR, stress testing) into workable and efficient solutions

  • Support change and adoption
    • Enable rollout of new CCR features and system changes
    • Ensure stakeholder understanding and adoption of delivered capability

Your profile

  • At least 8 years experience in Counterparty Credit Risk space as a business analyst (working closer with the IT and Quant teams). 
  • Strong understanding of Counterparty Credit Risk concepts as Netting, Stress testing, Liquidity, WWR, etc
  • Experience with counterparty credit risk measures such as  SA-CCR, FCCM, Potential Future exposure (PFE), Expected Exposure(EE) is a plus. 
  • Hands-on experience in Python. 
  • You have an interest in IT and work closely with Developers and Quants. 
  • Knowledge of Financial Markets products and front office processes
  • Business analysis and requirements translation
  • Agile delivery (story mapping, backlog refinement, stakeholder alignment)
  • Testing and validation of delivered solutions
  • Operates effectively in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment
  • Connects tactical delivery with strategic objectives
  • Takes ownership and drives delivery outcomes
  • Experience with working in Agile/Scrum is a plus;
  • You have a problem-solving mentality;
  • Good communication skills (in English), communication and presentation skills (telling – selling) across different skill and seniority levels;
  • You are flexible and you easily adapt to a changing environment;
