Responsibilities

Implement Preventive Maintenance Schedule Develop and execute a preventive maintenance schedule for the entire warehouse fleet, including 4.2m trucks, L300 vans, and electric vehicles (EV), to ensure vehicles are in good operating condition and reduce unplanned downtime.

Conduct Monthly Vehicle Safety Inspections Carry out monthly vehicle safety inspections covering brake systems, tire conditions, lighting and signals, and emissions compliance. Maintain inspection records and follow up on issue resolution.

Coordinate External Repairs and Track Maintenance Costs Liaise with external workshops and service centers for major repairs; establish and maintain repair cost tracking records, analyze maintenance cost structure regularly, and optimize cost control.

Ensure Driver Certifications and Qualifications Ensure all drivers hold valid driver's licenses, medical certificates, and defensive driving certifications. Maintain a certificate expiry tracking system and arrange renewals in a timely manner.

Develop and Deliver Safety Training Programs Design and conduct driver safety training programs covering load securing, hazard awareness, and accident prevention to enhance overall safety awareness and operational standards.

Investigate Accidents and Near-Miss Incidents Lead investigations into traffic accidents and near-miss incidents, prepare Root Cause Analysis (RCA) reports, propose corrective actions, and drive implementation.

Maintain Safety Equipment Inventory Manage vehicle and warehouse safety equipment inventory, including first aid kits, fire extinguishers, and reflective vests. Regularly check expiry dates and condition to ensure adequate stock.

Ensure Regulatory Compliance Ensure fleet operations comply with Philippine DOLE occupational safety standards and LTO (Land Transportation Office) regulations. Monitor regulatory updates and adjust internal procedures accordingly.

Coordinate Insurance Claims Processing Act as the point of contact with insurance providers for claims processing after vehicle accidents, prepare required documentation, and follow up on claim status to protect company interests.

Requirements

Education : College degree or above; majors in automotive repair, mechanical engineering, logistics management, transportation, or related fields preferred. Vocational or technical certificates in automotive repair/mechanics are a plus.

Experience : 3+ years of experience in fleet maintenance, vehicle repair coordination, or warehouse transportation operations. Experience in e-commerce logistics, 3PL, or express delivery is preferred.

Knowledge : Familiar with vehicle structure and common troubleshooting; understands Philippine LTO vehicle registration, annual inspection, and driver's license management regulations; familiar with DOLE Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) standards.

Skills : Strong cross-department coordination and external supplier management skills; able to independently organize training and write reports; proficient in basic data statistics and cost analysis; proficient in Microsoft Excel and other office software.

Language : English is required as a working language for daily email and verbal communication; proficiency in Filipino (Tagalog) or Chinese is preferred.

Attributes : Strong sense of responsibility, high execution capability, attention to detail, good safety awareness and risk prediction ability; comfortable working in a warehouse environment.
