Job Description
Mekari Officeless is redefining how Indonesian enterprises build and govern AI-generated applications. As we scale our Enterprise Solution Architecture team, we're looking for a Senior Solution Architect who will act as second-in-command to the Head of Solution Architecture, Enterprise & Enablement combining deep enterprise pre-sales experience with hands-on ownership of our enterprise solution delivery motion.
This is not a typical SA role. You'll be at the frontline of a new category we're building in enterprise AI application governance, where you'll lead technical conviction in enterprise deals, mentor a small high-leverage team, and help shape how our delivery model scales beyond any one person.
Enterprise Solution Leadership
- Lead technical discovery, solution design, and architecture validation for complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals
- Run live product demonstrations and proof-of-concepts that translate business requirements into governed, audit-ready solutions in real time
- Build and present the technical/governance narrative that differentiates our platform in competitive enterprise evaluations
- Own delivery of compliance-ready solutions aligned to relevant regulatory and data governance standards
Sales Partnership
- Act as the primary technical counterpart to Enterprise Sales throughout the deal cycle from early discovery through proof-of-concept and proposal stages
- Contribute structured technical input (risk assessment, solution fit, architecture feasibility) to enterprise deal qualification frameworks
- Sign off on technical deliverables and solution documentation before deals progress to later sales stages
Team Leadership & Capability Building
- Mentor and upskill other Solution Architects on the team, raising the overall technical and delivery bar
- Take ownership of key technical deliverables, solution documents, POC builds, and architecture/security reviews as the team's senior technical authority
- Help build reusable solution templates and frameworks that scale delivery across industry verticals
- Contribute to improving how the SA team operates intake processes, capacity planning, and delivery turnaround
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Business Analysts, Engineering, and Compliance/Risk stakeholders to validate solution designs before execution
- Map and coordinate integrations across internal product ecosystems and external enterprise systems
- Provide clear, structured handover to delivery/project teams post-close
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Solution Architect, Pre-Sales Consultant, or Sales Engineer in enterprise B2B SaaS proven track record supporting complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to drive and lead conversations at enterprise/executive level comfortable being in the room with key decision makers (whether that's IT leadership, business stakeholders, or C-level when present) and steering the discussion, not just presenting to it
- Demonstrated experience working within structured enterprise sales methodologies (e.g. MEDDIC/MEDDPICC, Solution Selling, or equivalent) in close partnership with Account Executives/Enterprise Sales
- Strong technical foundation in solution architecture: data modeling, workflow/business process design, system integration, and security/access control concepts
- Experience translating ambiguous business requirements into structured, presentable solution designs
- Comfortable presenting and demoing live in front of senior client decision makers, IT/business leadership, and C-level when they're in the room
- Familiarity with enterprise governance, compliance, or data privacy frameworks (e.g. ISO 27001, regional data privacy regulations)
- Strongly preferred:
- Prior exposure to low-code/no-code platforms or AI-assisted development/delivery tools
- Experience operating in regulated industries (financial services, government, or large enterprise IT)
- A mentoring mindset has previously coached or led junior SAs/pre-sales consultants
- Background in HR Tech, Finance Tech, or business process automation platforms
