Marketing Manager
Job description
Responsible for leading the execution of integrated marketing campaigns, partnerships, trade initiatives and affiliate marketing activity across Australia, New Zealand and Asia.
This role is the key execution lead within the marketing team, connecting strategy to delivery and ensuring campaigns, partnerships and activations are delivered to a high standard and aligned to business objectives.
The role is responsible for managing campaign implementation, affiliate support, partnership execution, Symphony campaigns, event delivery, social and digital execution, stakeholder relationships, budget management and operational processes, while supporting the growth and positioning of NBCUniversal brands across the region.
Key Responsibilities
Integrated Marketing & Campaign Delivery
- Lead and manage implementation of integrated marketing and communication plans aligned to key business KPI’s across the NBCUniversal portfolio
- Execute all consumer and trade marketing campaigns across priority brands and platforms
- Manage campaigns end-to-end from briefing through to execution, optimisation and post-campaign reporting
- Lead go-to-market meetings and oversee timelines, approvals, asset delivery and rollout activity
- Manage the master content and campaign calendar across the portfolio, ensuring business and programming priorities are aligned for maximum impact
- Oversee promo request processes in partnership with Programming and Creative teams
- Support campaign execution across DreamWorks in collaboration with the DreamWorks UK team
- Support final implementation of portfolio campaigns in line with strategic direction
Affiliate Marketing & Distribution Support
- Build and maintain strong relationships with affiliates, distribution partners and key external stakeholders across APAC
- Support onboarding of new affiliate partners including launch marketing plans and BAU support
- Work on network renewals and support new pitches and launch opportunities in market
- Coordinate affiliate marketing initiatives and cross-promotional opportunities across platforms
- Service affiliate needs including daily and monthly programming highlights, EPG delivery, VOD imagery, metadata requirements and cross-promotional support
- Assist in coordinating launch campaigns and ongoing marketing support for affiliate partners across the region
Partnerships, Trade Marketing & Commercial Support
- Support Affiliate Sales and Commercial teams with integrated marketing solutions, trade materials, partnership concepts and execution
- Develop pitch decks, client-facing materials and marketing concepts that support commercial growth and partner value
- Lead implementation of contra partnerships, brand collaborations and integrated trade marketing initiatives
- Identify opportunities for cross-promotion, audience engagement and partner value-add
- Execute affiliate events, launch events, trade initiatives, consumer activations and client hospitality experiences
- Manage guest programmes, invitations, event logistics and on-ground execution
- Coordinate talent appearances, influencer participation and branded activations where relevant
Symphony & Cross-Company Marketing
- Manage implementation of Symphony campaigns across internal NBCUniversal businesses and platforms
- Coordinate cross-divisional marketing alignment and campaign rollout across the region
- Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure Symphony priorities are delivered consistently and on time
Events & Activations
- Lead delivery of consumer and trade events, affiliate launches and branded activations across the region
- Manage event agencies, vendors, suppliers and production partners to deliver best-in-class execution
- Coordinate promotional merchandise, inventory management and shipping logistics where required
- Support launches, trade events, consumer activations and key NBCUniversal brand experiences
Budget, Operations & Reporting
- Manage campaign budgets, forecasting, reconciliations and reporting
- Ensure PO’s, invoicing and finance processes are raised and completed accurately and on time
- Coordinate agency relationships across media, digital, online and research where relevant
- Track campaign performance, insights and optimisation opportunities
- Deliver post-campaign reporting, learnings and recommendations to internal stakeholders
Basic Requirements:
- Strong experience in marketing, media, entertainment or agency environments
- Proven experience delivering integrated marketing campaigns end-to-end
- Strong understanding of affiliate marketing, partnerships, trade marketing and media environments
- Experience working across digital, social, VOD and multi-platform campaigns
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across regional teams
- Excellent project management and organisational skills with strong attention to detail
- Experience managing agencies, vendors, budgets and multiple concurrent priorities
- Strong presentation, writing and deck development skills
- Commercially aware, proactive and solutions-focused
- Detail-oriented and incredibly organised, with a strong work ethic and a team-focused mentality.

- Interest in emerging technology, automation and AI-led marketing tools is advantageous
- Comfortable working across multiple markets, brands and time zones in a fast-paced regional environment
