What You’ll Do as a Feasibility Manager

In your role, you’ll collaborate with different people across a range of skillsets and departments. Here’s a flavour of your day-to-day:

  • Lead commercial and feasibility activities across new store developments, delivering accurate cost estimates and supporting strategic property decisions across multiple European markets.
  • Conduct technical appraisals of potential store locations, engage with developers and shopping centre owners, and negotiate to ensure store handovers meet Primark’s technical and operational standards.
  • Partner closely with Property, Construction, Finance and Design teams to meet governance deadlines, support Property Board approvals, and drive successful project delivery.
  • Develop, maintain and benchmark construction cost databases and cost models, identifying savings opportunities through value engineering, procurement initiatives and market cost analysis.
  • Manage third-party design and consultancy teams, ensuring contractual compliance, commercial competitiveness, quality standards, and effective resource planning through regular audits and performance reviews.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders while promoting safety, operational excellence, and the adoption of innovative technologies across the property development lifecycle.

What You’ll Bring

  • Brings 5+ years’ experience in construction cost management, ideally within the retail sector, with a strong understanding of construction methodologies and procurement processes.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of project delivery across planning, design, new build, fit-out and refurbishment projects, with experience in budgeting, cost estimating, scheduling and construction risk management.
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, analyse complex data, and consistently deliver against tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and commercial acumen, capable of interpreting large volumes of information while maintaining both strategic oversight and attention to detail.
  • Collaborative and confident communicator with excellent stakeholder management skills, able to influence, negotiate and build effective relationships across all levels of an organisation.
  • Proven leadership capability with strong presentation, coaching and mentoring skills, able to communicate complex information clearly and drive high-performance outcomes across teams.
