Position: Periodontal Prevention Assistant Location: Steenwijk – The Netherlands

Information about the employer: Steenwijkerdiep is a dental practice in Steenwijk. Our modern group practice offers a broad scope of dental care, delivered by a multidisciplinary team of dentists, dental hygienists, and dental assistants. Information about the position: In your role as Periodontal Prevention Assistant, you will work closely with dentists and dental hygienists. You will have an important role in preventive care, patient education, and periodontal maintenance treatments. You will work in a professional and supportive environment, with access to modern equipment and clear clinical protocols. Our patients will visit you for sealants and polishing, removal of plaque and calculus, fluoride treatments, dental X-rays, and impressions.

Your responsibilities include carrying out these preventive and periodontal treatments, assisting both the dentist and the dental hygienist, and informing and motivating patients to improve and maintain their oral health.

Requirements

• Relevant dental education as a prevention assistant or periodontal prevention assistant;
• A valid certificate or diploma allowing you to work independently within your scope of practice;
• Minimum B1 level English and willing to learn the Dutch language;
• Experience as a prevention assistant is preferred, but motivated starters with the right qualifications are also welcome to apply;

• A salary between €2800 and €3600 gross per month, depending on qualifications, experience and development;
• Annual contract (32 - 40 hours p/w) with intention for a permanent contract;
