Retail Banking Services (RBS) is the public face of CommBank, delivering a seamless banking experience for the future to over 10 million personal and small business customers. We offer market-leading products and services, supported by some of the world’s best systems and processes.
The Deposits, Pricing and Governance Crew is responsible for the manufacturing and profitable growth of Retail Savings and Term Deposit products. Our responsibilities include product strategy, product design, pricing, customer experience, risk management, and the day-to-day oversight of the deposit suite.
Key responsibilities of the Everyday Banking (EDB) Pricing, Data Science & Analytics Centre of Excellence (CoE) include:
Driving EDB P&L outcomes
End-to-end accountability for setting headline and discretionary interest rates
Ongoing development of our world-leading pricing capability
Customer acquisition and retention for Term Deposits and Savings Accounts through targeted offers
Designing and implementing customer-centric initiatives to help customers meet their savings goals

The Manager, Everyday Banking Pricing, will support the development and delivery of savings and term deposit pricing initiatives.
This role involves working closely with the CoE Lead and wider team to help deliver key initiatives aligned to business priorities. You will contribute to pricing activities, support your squad in day‑to‑day execution, and collaborate with stakeholders across Everyday Banking, with opportunities to present updates and insights.
This role plays an important part in supporting portfolio performance within one of the largest deposit franchises in the country and offers the chance to build experience and capability in pricing.
On any given day you will:
Assist the Senior Product Manager monitoring the marketplace, while paying particular attention to direct competitors
Develop and design the features of a designated new product or enhancement to address an identified market need or opportunity
Manage the product P&L and customer outcomes
Planning and leading the promotional efforts for new or enhanced products
Monitor business results of recently introduced or enhanced products and recommending modifications in product features, pricing, and marketing approaches to improve results
Responsible for proactively managing risks associated to the product
Manage change to continuously improve the product offering and processes to facilitate the overall customer experience
We're interested in hearing from people who possess a combination of the below:
Well-developed numerical and analytical skills with an analytical approach to problem resolution
Ability to extract and interpret financial data to ensure product profitability and strategy development
Strong paper writing and presentation skills
Ability to manage stakeholders and good communication skills
Post graduate qualifications in Commerce, Marketing or Finance highly regarded
Previous experience in Product Management highly regarded
Experience in delivering initiatives, projects, remediation or change management
Strong communication and influencing skills and proven stakeholder engagement skills
Strong attention to detail
Proven track record of driving results
Tertiary qualification in a Business / Commerce / Law degree highly regarded
